How-To Stop Emails from Any Website

You just logged into a website only to find out they’re now sending you unwanted emails to your Gmail account. Yes, this happens a lot more than what most would give it credit for. Take the example of online gamers. Many times they log into a website for whatever reason and then find out there’re various emails in their inbox from that games’ website. Another problem comes from registering for an account on a website. Most overlooked the checkbox for “send me a newsletter”. So you end up with more junk emails from any given site. The same thing happens when you overlooked the checkbox concerning “send me updates”.

Basically, this amounts to a lot of wasted time in having to see it in your inbox and having to get rid of it too. There’s always the case in which a Gmail user doesn’t know how to stop those emails from the website in question from said website. However, Block Sender can help you.

Follow the given instructions below to stop a website from overloading your Gmail inbox even when you don’t know how to stop it from the website.

Step 1) Open Google Chrome and load the Block Sender website. Click the “Install Block Sender” button. It’s just one click and requires no further action to install.

Step 2) Log into your Gmail account and open any email from the website in question.

Step 3) The “Block” button is now showing next to the Delete button. Click the down arrow on the “Block” button and click Options. This will open the Options screen in a new tab.

Step 4) Click the “Block all email from sender’s website” option in the upper middle portion of the screen. That’s the default action. Close the Options tab and you should now be back to the email.

Step 5) Lastly, click the “Block” button and you’re done.

Alternate Step) Skip the Options page and click the down arrow button. Choose “Block all email from sender’s domain”.

Now any time the website in question sends you an email, it won’t matter much to you because it won’t show in your inbox. The block is permanent unless you use the “safety nets” included with Block Sender.

Gmail does an excellent job of blocking spam, but sometimes you just want to go the extra mile and prevent some mail from ever reaching your account.
